Dual Education and Training System

The dual education and training system is based on partnership and cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, the private sector, students, and their guardians. It aims to create an integrated education model that graduates skilled technicians who can work efficiently in the Egyptian labor market. Students study an industrial, agricultural, commercial, or hospitality occupation in a dual technical education school, receive theoretical education and basic vocational training, then complete practical training inside a training facility provided by service providers and their local units across governorates.

Study and Training Model

  • Students spend two days per week at school for theoretical learning and basic practical training in the selected occupation.
  • Students spend four days per week at the training facility to receive practical training in the same occupation.
  • Students are entitled to 30 days of leave during the calendar year. During summer vacation, they train six days per week inside the training facility.

Benefits After Graduation

  • A technical secondary school diploma under the dual education and training system from the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
  • An experience certificate from the supervising training body.
  • A monthly allowance and incentives from the training facility.
  • Practical and technical experience in the selected occupation.
  • Faster access to strong job opportunities, with the possibility of employment at the same training facility or another one when merit is proven.
  • Early integration into the labor market and exposure to companies and career opportunities.
  • The ability to work directly after graduation or continue studying at available colleges or institutes.

Our Mission

Graduate a generation of technicians with a high level of skill according to labor market needs.

Provide high-quality training opportunities for students.

Follow up training and ensure it runs in line with the practical curriculum for different occupations.

Coordinate between the school and the factory in student training.

Our Goal

  • Provide skilled technical labor trained on scientific and practical foundations using modern education and technology methods to serve Egyptian production, strengthen global competitiveness, and increase exports.
  • Apply the dual education and training system across recognized occupations, crafts, and jobs in Egypt, whether in industry, agriculture, or other fields.
  • Create job opportunities for young people according to labor market needs, especially factories and companies in Sadat City.

Return from Applying the Dual Education and Training System for Private Sector Companies

  • Serving the community by providing training opportunities that develop dual education students' skills and increase their employability as skilled technicians after graduation.
  • Supplying the labor market with skilled technicians and contributing to new quality standards for Egyptian human capital.
  • Under Article 15 of the new Investment Law, investor spending on technical education, training, or scientific research, up to 10% of annual net profits, is treated as deductible costs and expenses.

Operational and Training Return

  • Preparing trained labor, reducing the required skills gap, and introducing new occupations and skills that keep pace with rapid technological development in equipment and machinery.
  • Hiring students after graduation saves the time and cost of training new, untrained workers, while also reducing recruitment costs.
