A new step towards the future of energy in Sadat City

The Sadat City Development Authority announced the completion of all technical tests for the 220/22/22 kV extension substation, paving the way for its commissioning and entry into service in the coming period. This comes as part of the state's efforts to develop infrastructure and provide the necessary electricity to the expansion areas and urban and industrial developments in Sadat City, in line with development plans and the increasing volume of investments within the city. The Sadat City Development Authority held a coordination meeting to follow up on the substation's implementation status and determine the expected date for its commissioning. The meeting was attended by the Authority's leadership and those involved in the project, as part of the ongoing monitoring of current energy projects. The extension substation is considered one of the city's important strategic projects, with an investment cost of approximately 420 million Egyptian pounds. It aims to support new residential expansion areas and several industrial zones with a stable electricity supply. The substation's commissioning is expected to enhance the capabilities of the electricity grid in Sadat City, support urban and industrial expansion plans, and improve the city's readiness to receive new projects and investments in the coming phase.
