The Prime Minister inspects the Wadi Cables Company factory in Sadat City

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly inspected the Wadi Cables Company factory in Sadat City during his tour of the city. He was accompanied by Minister of Industry Khaled Hashem, Governor of Menoufia Major General Amr El-Gharib, and several factory leaders and officials. During his tour of the factory, the Prime Minister emphasized the government's continued support for the industrial sector and its commitment to providing a suitable environment for investment and increased production. He highlighted the focus on promising industries in the areas of export and technology localization, which contributes to strengthening the national economy and creating new job opportunities. The Prime Minister listened to a presentation by Engineer Hassan Abdel Aziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Cables Company, about the company's experience and contributions to national and development projects, including supplying cables for the Toshka project and its cooperation with electricity distribution companies. The Prime Minister also inspected the cable production stages, including the aluminum and copper cable production lines, the drawing, twisting, insulation, and assembly processes, and reviewed samples of the final product. The company's chairman explained that new expansions to the factory for the production of medium and high voltage cables are nearing completion, with a completion rate of 70%. At the end of the tour, the Prime Minister instructed the Minister of Industry to contact factory officials to discuss their needs and the requirements for the new expansions, study them, and work to fulfill them. He emphasized that the government provides various forms of support to local investors to encourage them to inject more investments into different industries.
